Travel Delay pays up to the maximum limit of coverage if the insured's trip is delayed for more than 12 hours for reasonable, additional accommodation and traveling expenses until travel becomes possible. This benefit is payable for only one delay for al insureds. Baggage & Travel Documents covers loss of your luggage and personal possessions even if borrowed or rented. Covers loss of passports, visas, and the unauthorized use of your credit cards if you complied with the credit card conditions. Baggage Delay pays for the purchase of essential items if your bags are delayed for more than 24 hours. Medical Expense covers medical expenses within one year of injury incurred or sickness suffered during your trip; medical and surgical treatment by a licensed physician; professional nursing, hospital, x-ray and ambulance services and prosthetic devices. There is no daily limit on these expenses. If services provided are covered under any Worker's Compensation, disability law, or health or accident insurance policy, then the insured shall assign to us his rights to those benefits, to the extent they are provided. Covers emergency dental treatment during your trip by a licensed dentist. Emergency Medical Transportation covers evacuation and transportation as directed by a doctor to the nearest adequate medical facility (home in the event of death). Special Medical Escort covers up to $5000 for an escort if you are disabled and an escort is recommended in writing by a doctor. If services provided are covered under any Worker's compensation, disability law, or health or accident insurance policy, then the Insured shall assign to us his rights to those benefits, to the extend they are provided. Accidental Death & Dismemberment covers death and loss of limb or eyesight within 180 days of an accident. We pay the full benefit for death or loss of any two hands, feet or eyes; and half the benefit for any one of these. Pre-existing medical condition exclusion applicable to all coverages. We will not pay for loss or expense incurred as the result of injury or sickness of Insured or Family Member which manifests itself during the 60 days immediately preceding and including the effective date, unless the condition is controlled through the taking of prescription drugs or medication and remains controlled throughout the 60 day period. A sickness has manifested itself when: (a) medical care or treatment has been given; or (b) there exist symptoms which would cause a reasonable prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment. Multilingual professionals are available 24 hours a day to provide help and advice with a medical or legal emergency. International Medical Assistance. If you are in need of medical attention, TGA, will help you locate local physicians, dentists, or medical facilities. TGA will also monitor your condition and contact your personal physician and family if necessary. Medical Evacuation*. If you need to be transported to a different hospital or treatment facility, or back home, TGA will arrange for transportation and a special medical escort if required. Emergency Medical Payments*. If a hospital demands a cash deposit or you need to settle your bill prior to leaving, TGA will advance funds to cover on-site medical expenses. Telephone Interpretation Service. In a medical emergency, TGA provides interpretation services in major languages, and transmits urgent messages to family, friends and businesses. Lost Documents. If your passport or other travel necessities are lost, TGA will help replace your lost items and provide other incidentals as may be required. *These services are payable up to the amount of coverage provided in your insurance policy provided by INSURE AMERICA. California Residents: This plan contains disability insurance benefits or health insurance benefits, or both, that only apply during the covered trip. You may have coverage from other sources that already provides you with these benefits. You should review your existing policies. Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud any insurance company or other person files an application for insurance or statement of claim containing any materially false information concerning any fact thereto commits a fraudulent insurance act, which is a crime and subjects such person to criminal and civil penalties. Refund Policy: If you are not completely satisfied you can receive a full refund. Refund must be requested from INSURE AMERICA within 3 days of the policy purchase date, provided you have not departed on your trip.
